Wasn’t impressed with the last GoPro and I’ve had 3 different GoPros, I think I’ll actually try the DJI Osmo action for my next cam. 😊

How fast will we get real reviews of the 13 after the "influencer" videos? The DJI Action 4 is miles ahead of all of GoPro's products right now. GoPro has to perform a miracle to catch up. I've used both and the 12 just couldn't handle my filming.

A bigger battery means more heat. I can’t see the heat dissipation design stop it from having the same overheating issues as before… unless they have a new gp processor that runs more efficiently producing less heat. What I’d like to know is there’s a diving housing that lets you add the additional lenses. Would love to use the macro lens at depth

We want a bigger sensor, and updated gpu giving better low light performance.
Increased record data rate (150+ Mbps) would be ideal too.
And an edge to edge rear screen.

Lets hope GoPro finally quit being lazy and fixed all the issues. Switched to Osmo Action 4 and no regrets! Far superior camera for my needs!

I have $1, 000 set aside for buying a new camera and accessories. I currently have a hero 11 black and the main reason I want to upgrade is better low light video recording. I was very tempted to buy the Insta Ace Pro, but figured I would hold onto my money and see what the new Gopro has. Well, it appears that they screwed up by not addressing this critical issue. But, since the release date is so close now, I will wait to watch some reviews just to make sure.

I would prefer to stay with what I know (Gopro) … but I wanna ride my bike around the city at night and record that. So if Gopro screwed that up! I will take my $1, 000 and buy an Insta Ace Pro instead.

You had one main job Gopro! Low light! If there was one issue that needed to be addressed before anything else, that’s it! And yet, it appears you screwed that up!

Have a GP9 that hasn't been as awful as its reputation but it has still lost lots of data from MTB rides that is irrecoverable (corrupt chapter files as well as total corruption of the entire SD card), VERY annoying. Grabbed an Osmo Action 4 the other day but after 20 mins of office charging for setup I could fry an egg on it, and it wouldn't recognize my brand new Samsung EVO Plus card that the GP instantly recognized, formatted, and worked (plus I almost forgot, the app wouldn't recognize the camera during setup on my Pixel 8, despite trying every hack on the web for about an hour). So Osmo 4 is 3 strikes and OUT and on its way back (plus I hate the sideload-only thing for the DJI app on Android). Now have an Insta360 Ace Pro inbound on Tuesday, will give that a go! I don't need or want much other than reliability first, and decent images second. Not a huge ask IMO.

Ich werde keine Gopro mehr kaufen, diese Kamera hat zu viele technische Mängel und ist auch nicht zuverlässig.
Ich hatte schon viele Gopros, also weiß ich wovon ich spreche. Die DJI Action und die Ace Pro sind dagegen Meisterwerke und absolut zuverlässig.

GoPro makes a crap product. When it works, it works very well, best video quality on the market. But they overheat like crazy and shut down... data corruption on the SD card, and are just unreliable. If you are shooting short videos, or snowboarding or underwater were it can keep cool, they might be ok.

But I had the 9 and 10 and both were nightmares at 4k60, and they would overheat while being mounted to a motorcycle and having 100mph+ wind blowing on them, so they should not have overheated. I tried to work with customer service and their only advice was to run their 120fps camera at 30fps. Until they do a complete redesign and prove themselves, I will never own another product from them. Been very happy with DJI and Insta360 products...

Had Gopro 9, it froze constantly when brand new even in a cold and hot weather or just won't turn on. Will never buy another Gopro again. Dji Action 4 and insta ace pro is the best and cheaper than the overpriced Gopro.
