Is this GoPro’s lucky 13?

GoPro has announced two new action cameras, the GoPro Hero 13 Black and a smaller GoPro Hero. Today we’re reviewing the flagship one which feels very familiar to Hero 12— it has the same 8:7 sensor with some very similar specs — 5.3K 30fps, 4K 120fps and 27MP photos. Instead, the new GoPro comes with a plethora of new accessories and new features that make it stand out. It can film super slo-mo video up to 400fps, has proper HLG HDR and a much-needed redesigned battery. Along with the new action camera, GoPro introduced three new lenses such as macro, ultra-wide and anamorphic.

The Hero 13 Black will cost $399 while the Hero will go for $199. Both are up for preorder now, and will be released on September 10th and September 22nd, respectively.

GoPro users! What do you care about the most — battery, image quality, cloud storage or the lenses?

Gopros thinking:
New sensor: higher production costs
New accessories: more sales, higher profits

Consumers were asking for 1) 1 inch sensor 2) low light performance 3) APP upgrade. None of this has been done with Gopro 13. All we get is basically new useless lenses for a crazy high price and an app which you still have to subscribe. I mean, is this a joke? How the heck am I considering to buy a product for more than 500€ which basically no innovation? I'm a 10 years GoPro user and after that I will probably switch to Ace pro. It's crazy how companies set theirself for a big fail.

Never buying a GoPro product ever again after an experience with their horrendous customer support. Very happy DJI is building superior products with much better customer service.

The main issue is if you got a hero 8 a few years ago, you still have a good action cam enough for 99% of all use cases

they can attach any number beside it and the people who are going to buy this are those who doesn't do proper research. this is basically the 12's video quality with minor "new" features that were copied from the ace pro and action 4. gopro is done

Need a detailed comparison video between DJI, go Pro and Insta action cameras.
Otherwise it's very confusing for new users to decide before buying one of these.
