The Dragon Ball Super might be taking an extended hiatus after the Tournament of Power and Dragon Ball Super: Broly, but that doesn’t mean the manga has done the same. The last arc, the “Galactic Patrol Prisoner Saga” ended with Goku FINALLY mastering Ultra Instinct so that he could take down the evil Planet Eater Moro. Now we’re in the early days of the “Granolah the Survivor” arc and they are already dropping bombs on us. Not only does Granolah have his sniper sights set on Frieza and the Saiyans but he might end up becoming the most powerful character we’ve seen so far in the series. So how could Goku possibly defeat Granolah if he’s already mastered his most powerful form? Well, Dragon Ball fans, we should’ve seen this one coming. That’s because Whis revealed that while Goku managed to master Ultra Instinct, there was an even more powerful version of the form yet to come!

Watch as we dive into Goku’s legendary fight with Jiren that caused him to fully use Ultra Instinct for the first time and how it was so hard for him to use it again. The reason why the aura is there is because the flames in the aura burn all thoughts and emotions, allowing the fighter to fight full strength without holding back. The reason why it isn't the final UI form is because you are leaking ki by having the aura flames outside your body, and the closer they are, the less ki you release. So theoretically, the Grand Priest leaks no ki while the Angels probably don't but if they do they can probably just regenerate the ki so it only matters in a fight, meaning that the Grand Priest would beat the Angels because he would have more stamina and probably a higher power level. So if Goku can master the Grand Priest's UI then he could probably beat the Grand Priest with enough training (obviously). So it's like the grades of SSJ. Grade 1 is omen, grade 2 is mastered, grade 3 is Angel UI, and grade 4 is Grand Priest UI. So it's like mastering SSJ, yet on a gods above the universe scale, instead of a mere 50x multiplier mortal scale.
