Samsung Refrigerator Troubleshooting - How to Clear Error Codes, Error List + Samsung Forced Defrost

If you have a Samsung refrigerator with an interface panel similar to this one and are having error codes pop up on the screen, or having other troubles with the refrigerator, I hope this video helps you to restore your fridge to good-working order. This video is part 1 of 2 involving the Samsung French-Door refrigerator, and some issues you have with it. I decided to publish this video first, as the other is much longer and comprehensive, and you need this video to understand/run modes for the other video.

This video helps you fix the 14-E Error Code lockout (a common Icemaker fault), as well as fix Samsung OF code, among others. Both errors lock you out of using your fridge, so they are insanely aggravating. Other codes are addressed such as the Samsung Refrigerator 2E code, Samsung Refrigerator 4E code, and many others.

Additionally, the forced defrost mode can help you defrost the Samsung icemaker. Many Samsung icemakers need defrosted to actually open up - I wish I had included this bit of info in the video itself - I'll try to get that on another video when I get another Samsung in.

Thank you for being generous and knowledgeable ! I did do a Forced Defrost mode . Worked great! Afterwards I put in Forced Freeze but the beeping would not stop even after moving through all procedures. I finally unplugged and plugged it back in! It stopped the beeping and went back into regular mode. I love this refrigerator even with the condenser not working well and forcing me to go into Forced Defrost!

I do not like the digital Samsung fridge we bought a little over 2 years ago.
My sleeve brushed over it as I went too near to pass, and "OF OF" codes came on and nowhere in the book was it explained, -and it was Saturday night.

Bought your kit but needed 3 tubes for the back of the unit, and loved the video, had no trouble at all getting it done and making the heater wires the correct lenght so there was not any extra wiring to wire tie. My only problem was on the 3M foil with glue backs the two small strips back came off perfectly but eh big bottom pieces the glue had dried out so it pulled off all the glue completlely but i had some spray contact glue to use in its place and all is good so far. Forced Defrost before i put it all back together and both original and new heaters worked great.
