Bonus tip: best use your ult on characters with no mobility (ana/zen), and don’t be afraid to use it on one target

Bonus tip: if you melee right as you're transforming into turret form it hides the animation, catching the enemies by suprise

There is a bomb jump as shown here, but the super jump is actually shooting the bomb directly upwards and then timing a second bomb off cooldown so that they both explode at the same time, that sends you even further but of course is more situational.

Bonus tip: throw one Grenade in the air and wait until it falls down, AT the Moment it Hits the ground throw the recharged Grenade on the floor that they Stack. You can get up on some pretty neat positions with it

I love playing bastion against sigmas who see me in turret form thinking that I'll just shoot their absorb, but I just wait for it to end and kill them, it's hella funny

Another good tip would be be how to use the artillery mode. It’s not a bad idea to focus all three shots on one enemy to secure a kill when spreading it out may end up not being enough for your team to capitalize on, but a healer diff can make a massive difference during a push or defense.

One bonus tip I’d like to give is that Bastion’s nade is good as a burst-damage finisher similar to Soldier’s helix rocket. It especially helps to finish off characters like Doomfist and Ramattra since their block abilities cannot reduce the damage of anything that sticks onto them, such as Tracer’s pulse bomb or Echo’s stickybombs. Doomfist can still gain charge for his punch from the damage if he survives the nade, however, so sticking him with it should be something to watch for if his teammates has a way to burst heal or generally save him as he blocks since you’ll potentially feed him some charge.

bonus suggestion: for artillery, use it like a replacement for turret form in situations where turret wont cut it

examples being low on health but your team still needs dps, or a long range threat like Widow/backline supports that are well protected, turret is on cooldown, or if you're line of sight gets broken by say getting booped off a bridge.

Here's a tip for all my low ranks. Flank with bastion. The Gold support isnt gonna counter swap theyre just gonna yell at their team. If you flank and fry or even trade with a support you will win every team fight. This tip works especially well if its Push, or they run dive

Don't shoot all three ultimate shots at once.
Use one shots to bait the enemy ( for example Mercy with her Fly ) and then use the the other two shots to damage or kill them.

I've been tracking shatters for like 2 years now and its crazy how easy it gets (depending on the rein ofc) so i endorse tracking one ability cause recently i felt way more in tune with the team fights. Tracking anas sleeps and nades or listening if zen is charging up a shot close by

Great advice, the last one is a big one. After playing ow for so long I kinda forget that I even pay attention to those kinds of things, but it’s def smart to keep track of enemy abilities, I’d say the most prominent one to keep track of while playing bastion is an Ana anti-nade.

As a bastion main since ow1 I agree altho I do miss old bastion

Picking one countering ability to track all game is actually huge brain advice, and good for any hero. I do this as Sombra, when I’m playing well at least…

I actually didn’t know you were supposed to jump during the super jump. I thought you just shot it at your feet and waited 😭

This is very helpful! Whenever I am pushing the enemy team I always get deleted by a genji or cancelled by a dva
