Which human breakthrough would you like to see in your life? What do you expect to see in the future?

I will be 49 by that time :) so I’m still young enough to see those innovations becoming reality

The idea is not to live till 150, but to have the same beauty and health in the last years.

Watching a video on human life expectancy, Youtube recommends "What would happen if all humans went extinct"....you're kind of missing the point there youtube.

One correction By 2050 we might even be able to treat hypertrophic and even hyperplastic obesity. We are already creating biological derivatives of hormones which can alter leptin resistance as well. So by 2050 obesity may not remain an issue at all. At least for the wealthy

For your question:
I say that it depends. If throughout your life you get to see horrible scenarios (wars, family members/friends die along the way, etc.), then probably no - you wouldn't want to live a lot.
However, if you want to improve the world and your friends are with you along the way - high chances that you'd want to live for as long as you can.

hi! I'm so glad I found this video in an archive. it's 2053, and the life expectancy is 1, 000 years old. I have made a fusion reactor, and will turn it on now! *flip* OH N-

I don’t know how I feel about this. If an individual can afford to live up to 20 years, which may or may not be possible, this may be a huge argument about the gap between rich and poor. Seems like the rich will live longer and become even more rich. On the other hand, if this is quickly developed to be cheaper to the general population, this could be an incredible landmark.

Considering my current lifestyle, I think I'll be kicking the bucket somewhere in my 50's

I don’t see this happening, with population numbers so high, I doubt the corrupt government will want people to live longer
