Can I just say, that being from the UK. MOST people from the UK, think the idea of Open Prisons (where certain category of prisoners are permitted to leave prison for the day under strict guidance), is ridiculous.

So many abscond or commit other crimes....I mean, who wouldn't!

My Friend's wife was American and lecturer in criminology in the UK. And back in the mid 1990's gave her opinion on numbers and locations of Serial killers in the UK was chilling. (She correctly predicted activity of a nascent serial killer based on a series of assaults - co-incidentally someone both my friend & I later met before his capture.) She speculated that There were 4 - 6 serial killers in London, 2 in Glasgow, 1 or 2 in Manchester, 2 in Birmingham, 1 in Liverpool, 2 in the south west of England, 1 in Newcastle & North east.

Broadmoor is a psychiatric hospital in much the same way that a kennel is a dog hotel. 😂 There's a reason the inmates revolted and took the place over!
