Am I crazy or did David just make a Tasty recipe that went perfectly on the first try? You should buy a lottery ticket because I don't think this has ever happened before. Props to whoever at Tasty gave actually decent and accurate directions for once!

I appreciate that you taste the beignets in the kitchen when they are still warm, every time I went to the coments everyone was freaking out about you tasting things in your studio hours after they are done, the flavor and consistency really changes after a couple of hours out in the counter, after going to all that work that you put into your videos the least thing you can do for yourself is try the food when it's just out of the oven and give us the immediate reaction, cheers David, happy October

As someone from Ireland/ living in England, when he first said apple cider I assumed he meant actual cider. I then remembered American apple cider is just apple juice.

If I remember correctly, you want to mix all the ingredients before adding the yeast in case there's something in there like salt, where high concentrations can throw off or even kill the yeast. Consistency makes for a better dough.

David, put your yeast in the freezer. It keeps a long time there. Then when you need it, pull it out and keep it in the fridge. Will rise fine from a cold fridge. Keeps there a long time also.

i feel like its super important for people (especially people on a budget) to know you can blend regular sugar and it will turn into powdered sugar! you dont have to buy both!!
