Seeing if Ruthenium spark plugs help out the 2.3 Ecoboost or not.
Did a 1600 Mile trip with them to see if the 2.3 ecoboost runs any smoother
or increase in gas mileage.

I have had ruthenium plugs in my F-150 3.5 Ecoboost for 2 years and it's also tuned. No issues, does start better in cold weather. As anyone with a Ecoboost will tell you, these engines eat plugs. So a little stronger plug that can hold the gap longer is a plus for me.

I put Ruthenium plugs in my 5.0 and holy cow it woke that sucker up. Throttle response is amazing

Good to see they did well on your ecoboost. Just installed them in an 06 Infiniti FX35. Did not gapped them, as they claim not needed and also did not want to break off the tip. I also used anti seize as my previous plugs were difficult to remove.
So far, i've noticed a nice improvement in throttle response, though my mpg has not changed.

I love the ruthenium plugs for my 2017 VOLVO XC60 with the 2.0 that’s supercharged/turbocharged. Mileage went up and power is smooth as silk.

Bought 8 ruthenium NGK's spark plugs for my car because I tought my iridium ones were worn out but they are like new after 60000km. I think the problem comes from the carbon build up, especially on the throttle body...both are rated for 100k miles (160 000 km)

DON'T use anti seize!
Even NGK says it acts like a lubricant affecting the Torque Specs.

Ruthenium isn't for a performance gain. It's for longevity. I happen to see a decent performance gain in my older 99 Toyota engine b/c it was originally designed for dual electrode plugs, which can be restrictive in order to gain spark reliability, but newer engines, like yours already run optimally. The Rutheniums should last the life of your engine.

I run these plugs in fords and chevys, never seen one that was faulty or needed gapping, and they run a bit more efficient than stock plugs due to less ground strap and it's thinner than a stock strap too.

NO anti-seize on the NGKs. From the NGK website:

NGK spark plugs feature trivalent plating. This silver or chrome-colored finish on the threads is designed to provide corrosion resistance against moisture and chemicals. The coating also acts as a release agent during spark plug removal. NGK spark plugs are installed at the factory dry, without lubrication or anti-seize.

Anti-seize can act as a lubricant, altering torque values up to 20 percent, increasing the risk of spark plug thread breakage and/or metal shell stretch. Thread breakage can sometimes involve removing the cylinder head for repair. Metal shell stretch changes the heat rating of the spark plug and can result in serious engine damage caused by pre-ignition. Do not use anti-seize or lubricant on NGK spark plugs. It is completely unnecessary and can be detrimental.

If you’ve hopped up your ecoboost with a tuner. These are not the plugs for you. I’ve had a repeated cylinder 5 plug failure with these NGK ruthenium. They just aren’t cold enough to handle more boost and higher temps.

Putting them in an econoline for longevity! If you ever did you want to pull your hair out. Fingers

You should run MSD Coil Packs with them

If they are so great a spark plug why are they only have a warranty of 60days when autolite give a lifetime warranty on their plugs. I'm leary to buy with such a WEAK warranty

Can't be a very great plug with only a 60 day warranty

Huh, you aren't running the 50fps any more.

has anyone had any issues running these in ecoboost engines like the 2.7l i have a 2018 2.7l i know in the past fords ignitions are very sensitive to what plugs they use most of the time needing motorcraft plugs or they throw codes thanks in advance
