All spark plugs do the exact same thing . But the cheaper ones don’t last as long as the expensive ones . That’s the only difference ! 🎉

iridium will not wear out, copper is soft and will wear rapidly with every spark.

I recently replaced the OEM NGK iridium with Bosch iridium and I notice no difference other than the new spark plugs get slightly better gas mileage.

I replaced the NGK and ac delco with cheap autolite and it has quite a bit better throttle response. (All brand plugs were new)

Used iridium plugs in my turbocharged car and it started misfiring, changed to copper and the misfire went away

alot dont relise that the std copper type plug is alot better plug and as you can see here with blue to iridium white spark the std plug is better for weak coils or high boost blowing out park. they just have to be changed alot more offten and you can see spark jump around in the gap. thats ngks vgroove plugs

I have 2019 mustang gt 5.0 with bolt on mods the owners manual recommends the Motorcraft platinum but since I have mods wouldn’t an iridium plug be better and offer better performance?
