The genetic explanation also never accounted for the fact that there are identical twins where one of them is gay, the other isn't gay. If it were purely genetic, this would be impossible. The only thing genes could have an influence on is 'prone-ness' to develop into a gay person.

The God of Israel did not made Gay DNA, but there can be some bad mutation in the Human Genome that polluted the DNA with gayness. :P

Homosexuality is overwhelmingly influenced by environment and the psychological impact of all experiences, traumatic or otherwise, a person has throughout life from cradle to the grave. Because of this, it has become very obvious that the lifestyle of this behavior is a personal choice strictly based on how you feel as a result of life experiences, and is not predetermined by genetic coding.

Since there's still no proof of it, It's all psychological. Hence I believe it it a choice and is based on what you're feeling.

How is everyone in this comment section misinterpreting this study? Guys before you comment.. read the study. It states that there is not *one* but a confluence of *many* genes that work to account for up to 25% of the variation in same-sex behavior. I.E. there are many “gay genes.” The remaining majority of the determination of these attractions is environmental factors - environmental factors does not = social social factors. They be everything from one’s hormonal levels in utero and gene markers to chemicals, etc.
