This is incredibly prophetic, because bees are now classified as fish in California. In order to protect their habitats they had to be a bird or fish, and the definition of bird was too restrictive, but fish was wide open.

I just thought about this two days ago, if we lived under water we would have names for every single kind if fish and study their lineages the way we do terrestrial animals, it was a weird thought but fish obviously evolved across millions of years across tens of thousands of parent families, if not more
