I just got a used XMaxx on black friday for $500 so I'm excited to do a few upgrades and try it out. Should fit my fleet nicely with the Losi Super Baja Rey, UDR, and SCX6. Somehow all my toys are getting bigger! Thanks for the tip, gonna try this on my XMaxx

Another great video for sure! Next time your at the Traxxas store, look for or ask about the "Ultimate Earth Roamer" Matt (Scale Builders Guild) built. He sent it to Traxxas at their request to display at the McKinney store. Definitely a cool build!

That Slash race is one of the cleanest race I've ever seen. Often times there is a lot of carnage.

Those fans are in all my rc trucks. They last a long time and move a lot of air. Plus aluminum frame of the fan acts as extra heat sink.

I run high speed fans on my little 1/10th scale, and i can go through and entire 5200mah 3s battery full pin doing whatever i want and they wont overheat. Fans loud and annoying but being able to drive non stop is worth it.

What size is the fan? 30x30mm? Or 40x40mm

Do you want the fan pushing air down or pulling air up?

Do these fans fit in a max6? Or will stock do just fine? And do these fans fit in de dual velinion housing?

You can buy fans for just a couple bucks or pay a lot. The trick is not to waste your money on "RC" labelled fans as those are just re-branded or upgraded computer hardware fans used in servers.

Are those the same sized fans you’d put on a 3S VXL system?

You didn’t get the little character in your capuchin ? I don’t blame you for not posting. The holidays are here & it’s just nice to relax & spend time with family. Rain is coming the next few days here in the Ojai Ca. Area. The high was 62 deg & most of the time it’s near 100 deg. 62 & we are freezing that’s funny.

I just put this fan in my sledge. I installed it the same as this video but the air is blowing down not up. Is that ok?

Great channel 💪Is the Traxxas 2085X Digital High Torque Servo with Metal Gears a good replacement for the XRT's stock servo and the adding the Hot Racing Servo Arm. I'm going with the Jetko's 1/5 scale Jetko XMT King Cobra's or Tomahawk's wheels and Tires will the factory gearing work w/o having to gear up the XRT acept for maybe the steering servo? Thanks for your help/knowledge on the hobby...Always keeping it Fun😆

Random question...

First, thank you for the recommendation, what a difference over stock! I actually bought (3) so I could do the motor ones as well, huge difference! That said, my question is, is the ESC fan supposed to blow in or out? I installed the new Protek fan in the same orientation as the stock and it seems to be blowing in (sucking in through the holes on the top), at least from what I can tell with my "paper towel" test (holding a small strip of paper towel over the holes on the top of the ESC cover). Just wanted to check to make sure I didnt accidentally install it wrong. Thank you in advance for your help, love the channel!
