My 1st gen 6s version stripped gears, 7yrs ago, upgraded It to 8s via upgrade kit and have never blown a diff since. I am handicapped and use self righting all day long...

It works. I've used it. It shredded my tires.
I won't be using this feature any more. Walk of shame it is.

It works perfect on flat textured surface. If it's smooth it slides a bit and can not quite get the traction it needs. Also on uneven surfaces it can find a dip or hole and get itself stuck. Works most of the time and is great and sucking down your battery that much faster.

I've got the max and when I put the Rivo tires on there and it does it twice as good And i've never stripped anything on it. Thing is a beast!

I’ve never owned one of these high performance rc’s. But I’ve seen hundreds of videos of these things getting absolutely thrashed and beat on and slammed from 20-30 feet from a jump and they just keep going.
So how does this shred the diffs and shaft? Genuinely curious

Good idea, but it is VERY HARD on your model's driveline (axles, gears, and esc as well as motor) and terrible on the tires (breaking the glue loose on the bead, and it can easily blow nonbelted tires when u run 3s and higher on a powerful brushless setup).. also u can use "auto self righting" if u run belted or undersized tires since it won't have enough inertia
