I favor my X-Maxx over the XRT. Reasoning being the X-Maxx just brings a smile to my face every time I take it out. Both really good cars just something about a monster truck always wins in my book.

I couldn’t decide. I love the X-MAXX for its size, incredible ability on all surfaces and mind roasting durability..plus I love monster trucks. I raced 1/10 & 1/8 buggies years ago & love that performance and precision, so I knew I would love the XRT. Its massive with the wide suspension they put on it. I can rip on pavement and pull tight turns that would have the X-MAXX on it lid. If you wantit all basher, snag the X-MAXX, if you appreciate more of racing & performance style scoop up the XRT, it has a few places that Traxxas need to straighten out like the wing support and the steering bell cranks, but after taking care of those w after market replacements it is also a VERY tough vehicle.
I have both and love both of these very different vehicles for different reasons & won’t ever part with either.

Never had the XRT but I think xmaxx is king of all rc, apart from changing spur and pinion out of the box xmaxx is flawless

Xmaxx is very good, from what i heard but personally i have 2 xrt models, i generally like more aerodynamic shapes, i not denny tho Xmaxx could be great as well, it's a legend of rc bashing.
