I remember back in 1987, my friend had the Golden arrow, and I had the red arrow (same car basically), and we thought they were wicked fast. Today, i picked up this xrt, and it is absolutely amazing how violent this thing is. Brushless power, coupled with lithium batteries, has really changed the game. The size, and power of this rc is impressive for sure. Yea.... its expensive, but it is worth it imo.

Yea, agree 110% that the XRT & the Sledge are killer for carving through sweeping turns, as well as negotiating tight inside turns. Also awesome for lower altitude jumps, like the Greg did here. Nice mello transition jumps and flying long distance with smooth landings on the other end. It will launch like a rocket, but the chassis slap makes you cringe. For big air, go with or stick to your X-MAXX. I f you already have a Sledge I would say, your all set and made a good choice. If you just MUST have the XRT for it’s size, your definitely not going to be disappointed. The Sledge is the ticket for a kick azz truggy, it’s fasst and even more nimble than the XRT, plus it keeps some cash in the bank.I have all three and still ..if I had to pick just one, it would have to be the X-MAXX. It does everything good and most things great. Great vid Greg. Hope to see you at the track this fall. ✌🏼👊🏼🏁

I hope they have a better servo I went through three before I went to an aftermarket one and no problem since then.

If I could add two things, would be a mesh vent on the ram air hood intake and roof, so rocks dont fly in and grass and stuff. Also I would have made the side fins on the wing adjustable 3 piece. Would have been nice to be able to change your spoiler aero depending on your situation.

The Sledge X, I’m gonna wait on this one, looks great but their servos suck, the Spurs and pinions are junk, esc known to fail, I’d buy a roller but this thing will cost another thousand to keep it on the road
