Hidden away, behind tall fences, the slaughterhouse workers go about their ghoulish business. This is the sheepskin shed of a slaughterhouse. So many skins that a forklift is required to move them en masse. Skins of sheep, no more than six months old, torn off their small bodies. Prior to this, these sheep were shipped to this slaughterhouse, some on huge slaughterhouse trucks, some on small farm trailers, brought to the abattoir by farmers who had raised them and who they trusted. They would then be met with a knife across their small, young throat. This is the reality of the grim, horrific, frightening world of the slaughterhouse.
