did you know the iron golem is a referance to an old anime, city in the sky? (i think its called that) the golem even hands flowers to villager kids as a referance from the movie, where a tall, long armed ancient robot crashed into our, at the time of the movie, poverty ridden world. in one scene the robot hands a flower to the two main characters, who are children.

The Killer Bunny is an easter egg that references the Monty Python and the Holy Grail film.

In one of the early alpha/beta versions of the game, it was possible to create infinite lava. Lava was coded to be not infinite because it was too laggy, and now in 2023 we're adding it back in via gamerule.

In 1.16, you know those cross-shaped patches of clay in swamps? If you dig straight down in the middle you will always find diamonds.

In a 1.8 snapshot, a primed creeper would cause all nearby mobs to run away...this was removed before 1.8 release because it turned out to be way too laggy.
