No time consuming fluff, just authentic information. You are the real deal and really know your stuff - thank you for shining so bright!

Many clients ask me about notes during the interview, I recommend a small post-it note right below the camera so it looks like you're still looking at the interviewer when you need to read something.

I have an zoom interview next week for a director position at a college. They will give us 15 minutes to review the interview questions before the panel interview, which is pretty cool... but at the same time, I'm nervous about how in-depth the questions will be if they are allowing us to review them beforehand. Any suggestions on how to prepare?

I like downing 3 shots of espresso 30 minutes before an interview, never fails!

Great video! Very energetic. I would suggest a filter or something over the circle light you are using. The light reflects the circles in your eyes. Cyborgish feel. :)

Thanks Heather! I have a Zoom interview today, but they want us to turn our videos off. So I guess it will be more like a multi-person phone call. Hoping for the best!

Um, you don't need an account on zoom. They send you a link and you click on it.

Hey Heather! Love the videos, just a few youtube tips if you are interested:

When you have a call to action for example subscribe or like the video: It lands a lot better when you frame it as a reminder and pair it with a reason. The best reason is a benefit to the viewer. E.g Subscribe to the video so you do not miss the next video which could help you land that job. Viewers honestly forget the subscribe and like button or comment section are options! Using the subscribe and like the video as a routine part of the intro results in a viewer sometimes tuning out. By pairing it with honest reminders and benefits it is more engaging.

Also do not be afraid of being super honest. Especially when asking for a like on the video, tell the viewer how much it helps grow the channel (help someone get their dream job) as the algorithm uses it as a key metric when it comes to recommended videos which will allow you to spend more time on future videos (benefit for viewer).

I think the pull will be greater for your comment call for action by telling the viewer you will be in the comments for the next 24 hours or so. You are already doing it so reminding them of this will result in more engagement.

You could use a kit.co to combine your recommended equipment into one link to avoid diluting your description. The more items in a description the fewer eyeballs each link will get.

Not a Youtuber myself but have gathered these practices from watching other YouTubers grow.

Hope this helped a little bit. Enjoy your day!
