My toilet bowl outlet is about an inch below my four inch waste pipe which comes out of a masonry wall. An offset connector would have been fine if the waste pipe was below the outlet from the toilet but it is the other way around. How do I fix this?

I need to replace the toilet-I was on the beer with my mates in town came home used the toilet and smashed the cistern -I know -don`t ask how, the new pan outlet is about 2 inches below the soil pipe inlet is this ok or should the cistern outlet be level with the soil pipe or higher -if higher should I raise the pan or take a whizzer to the soil pipe and shorten it, raising the pan would easier but i`m not shore - any advise would be helpful.
