Ty Lee was a shocker here. When I watched this scene, I wasn't expecting Ty Lee would be chi blocking Azula.

As much as I think Azula being told she miscalculated would’ve pissed her off. I think what hurt her more and triggered her more was the fact that she felt her own mother loved zuko more than her. And would choose zuko over her. Mai doing the same I think is a big reason her mental state collapsed. Because her control of holding everything in had broken in an instant as well.
