It really is sad and tragic that the only time Azula ever heard “I love you” from her mother is through a hallucination

Zuko and Azula are a reflection of Iroh and Ozai.

I wonder if Azula did something enormous to the world to make her an “unspeakable” topic in the future because there’s no way people just forgot about her in legend of korra

Yo her voice actor is underrated especially in the last episodes of the series...it’s crazy how you could feel the emotion and passion 🙏🏼🙏🏼

"Don't flatter yourself, you were never even a player"
is her best line. Long Feng got owned, rightfully so. Seeing that happen to him and in a state of shock was satisfying

When you watch this and keep in mind her age, it's all the more tragic.

Azula is an amazing character. I’ve always liked how she wasn’t a straight villain with no reason to be one like Zhao and Long Feng. While I hate her, her story is so sad that I can’t help but feel kinda bad for her.

this is why parents should pretend they don't have a favorite -_-

It hurts me to see everyone with their happy ending except Azula "She was born lucky" the biggest lie of the century...

And what's terrifying is that Azula is just 14!!

Azula really got done dirty. We need another comic explaining what happened to her after Smoke and Shadow.

She is capable of redemption. She's shown glimpses of humanity throughout the show. Such as how she immediately apologizes to Ty Lee after hurting her feelings, as well as admitting that she's jealous. In that same episode, she also showed concern for Zuko, going to their old beach house, figuring she would find him there and make sure he was okay. She has a lot more depth than people give her credit for, which is why a series about her redemption arc would be VERY much welcomed, even if it's merely in comic book form. She's done terrible things but she was also just a 14-year-old girl (Despite that she looks like she's 18, which does suit her character). It's not too late for her. She sadly never had an Iroh to guide her as Zuko did. I would like if her Iroh would be either Zuko or Ty Lee. I think the journey of Aang and the gang should be put to rest because their journeys feel complete and shouldn't be dragged on. Azula's journey still has a lot of room for exploration.

I want to know what happens to Azula after Smoke and Shadow. I think she deserves a chance at redemption. After all, she grew up in the same abusive conditions as her brother. The only difference is, she never had the chance to escape it.

If Azula was able to redeem herself and reconcile with Zuko, could you imagine? Aang, Katara, Sokka, Toph, Zuko, and Azula fighting side by side. It'd be epic

I feel extremely bad for Azula. She was manipulated by her father at a young age and groomed to be like him and because of it her behaviour didn't sit well with Ursa who just wanted her to reflect on herself. But Azula thought that she did nothing wrong because of her father, leading her to think that her mother doesn't love her and thinks of her as a monster. While she is "grown up" in AtlA we see her true emotions after the Agni Kai. A child that is lost, doesn't know what is right or wrong because of both her parents failing her when she needed them most, raging with anger but crying out of confusion and helplessness. It was Ursa's duty to keep her daughter save from Ozai's ways but failed because she didn't realise how much she favoured Zuko over Azula and gave him more attention in Azula's eyes. It's a typical cliché taken to the extremes.

To be honest, the way that how Ozai treated Zuko & Azula like that. It’s because that was the main reason why she was suffering a mental breakdown due to her father’s manipulation with her mind and making her thinks that she becoming a monster.

Fun fact: In season 2, Azula became a fairly popular character which neither of the creators expected because she was even a worse villain than Zuko. They decided to give her more humanizing moments in season 3 partially because of this and partially because they wanted to give most characters more depth in that season.
