Great videos. I see the huge assortment of bumpers and holding devices including frozen birds. What’s your opinion on a standard bumper with Grouse, Woodcock or Pheasant wings attached. Not so much for scent but for texture? I know you’re not a fan of over emphasizing sight for scent pointing with “wing on a string”.

My gsp (first one) is 15 weeks. He has learned fetch incredibly well. He will bring me the ball and I've been letting him hold the ball longer. He'll walk around me with it and lay down. I'll say come, bring me the ball and he will. He seems to learn very fast. Will work on larger items soon. Thanks for you informative videos!

So is it necessary to have the dog up on a table? Or does it just make it easier?

Can you use variation like this possibly on a table for a 2 year old with a “weak hold” but understands hold, also understands to hold at fetch level. Just weak in the mouth, aka “soft mouth”
