When youre taking it out of their mouths why do you just say good and take it and not a command like drop or dead?

I have one pointer that loves it and another that hates it

My dog likes to grab the bird by it’s neck and hold it and an object on the smallest part instead of in the middle. Any advice on that?

My dog likes to pick up bumpers and carry them by the rope and the tab that the rope attaches to. Any suggestions?
