If I don't have access to laboratory testing, should I use my avg max hr over all of my run, bike, HIIT workouts, or just pick the highest I recorded? The maxHR formulas are all different, so I don't put much weight in those.

Question: when I start a workout and watch the pulse monitor bounce in and out of different hr zones, are those zones customized for me? Like according to HRV or something?
