Narration and Steps:
In this video, we’ll transform footage into a dynamic masterpiece.
Import a clip on composition timeline and add some text to follow subject in my case a girl riding on a horse.

First, bring your playhead to the start of timeline and go to tracker panel click on Track Motion. You’ll see a track point on your screen.

Expand and position both the inner and outer boxes to cover the area you want to track.

Now, click the ‘Analyze’ button in the Tracker panel.

After Effects will track and analyze the clip frame by frame.

This might take some time and could crash or slow down PC if your running low spec machine.

If the tracker boxes drift away, simply move your playhead back to the frame where tracking was lost, reposition the boxes, and hit the Analyze button again.

Once tracking is done and looks good, right-click anywhere on the timeline, go to ‘New’, and create a ‘Null Object’.

A Null Object is like you and me, working in big tech company, doing all the hard work but never gets the credits.

Now, Select your video clip layer, go to the Tracker panel, click on ‘Edit Target’, choose the Null Object we just created, and hit ‘OK’.

Then, click ‘Apply’ to copy all tracking data to the Null Object.

Finally, link your text layer to the Null Object, and we’re done!
