Obviously the RB 19 is an amazing car but if Red Bull had 2 drivers of Perez's talent level instead of 1 of them being a generational talent in Max they surely wouldn't be walking away with first. I believe not enough of the praise is going to Max for what he's able to get out of his car. It's not as if Checo is consistently finishing in second while challenging for the win.

I agree the question of whether Alonso can beat Checo out for P2 is not so much to do with the RB19, and everything to do with Checo. He’s definitely having a Bottas-style season this year… hot out of the gate, then falling away…

If Perez was the first driver, Red Bull would be a midfield team.

Hey, where are all those Perez fanboys claiming hes gonna beat max?

Something to consider regarding how close Aston and Mercedes were to Red Bull today, the temperature had a significant impact on the Red Bull since it prefers it warmer and Verstappen mentioned how hard it was to get the tires in the correct temperature range. After the gap at Barcelona I don’t think that there’s been that much advancement in the other teams. Today was simply a glitch. No to diminish Alonso’s epic performance.

The fact Red Bull is not a manufacturer makes it even more impressive.

Red bull is not a car manufacturer but what they achieved is impressive... for car manufacturer teams they have the luxury for not to worry to go to unknown....red bull have to create a teams around the supplier

Ridiculous penalty for Hulkenberg. I mean, the red flag went out 2 seconds after he crossed the line. You can’t expect the guy to slam on the brakes right after the finish line. ON A WET TRACK!

Gilles Villeneuve never disappoints, seems every year it is an unpredictable and entertaining weekend. One of the better races so far this year.

I have a suspision that this is the podium we are going to see in different variations for the rest of the year. Unless Ferrari gets their act together.

Give ricardo a go perez has already lost his head the last 4 qualies have a been a disaster, and perez said he wants to become champ??? he will never be champ! this year is his last chance and he has already blown it, in the last 4 races

It seems likely that Russell had some damage to right rear brake cooling duct that caused the overheating issue and not just being further back in the pack

20 years old.... talking about their windtunnel yeah, other parts are more modern. They should put a sock in it, RB wins with a windtunnel that's of the 50's.

Let’s all be honest here. The opposition isn’t getting closer, they are getting old. 😅

This is what a race should look like. Well, I'd like to see Aston chewing harder on Red Bull. Stroll pulled points and there were remarkably few on track incidents.

Some of the tighter street circuits should better be resolved by driving karts.

Absent that all the drivers lining up at the start line and voiding themselves and the winner is whoever's DNA gets around the track canal first.

I would have doubts about Red Bull’s ability to dominate but, there’s one name that makes those doubts absurd…..Adrian Newey.

Yip unfortunately Red bull need to find a better number 2 driver, they have given him a big chance and he is not delivering. 4 Mistakes in consecutive races in Qualifying is very bad! and in my opinion he crashed on purpose in Monaco. He was paid to crash so that photographers could photograph the underside of the car. Look at the crash again and you will see it! pretty obvious. Maybe Red bull should give Ricardo a try! Max and Fernando can win in a slower car the only 2 guys who can do that, Ham cant do that, Max and Fernando are racing drivers not Drivers
