Thank you for this video. I have done some reading, mostly Wikipedia, on the French Royals along with watching "Versailles" which, of course, is a lot of fiction and the writer's twist on the stories. I do have to say that Alexander Vlahos who played Phillip knocked it out of the park. He played that role so deliciously. He was my favorite in the series. I did know what the Chevalier was up to when starting the secret club. From what I've read and seen, he did have a "black" heart. Phillip seemed to have had the "spare" behavior a lot like Harry does. I wouldn't think that it's easy in royal or aristocratic circles of not being the first born. That also shows in some of the marriages in the gilded age of American heiresses marrying into English nobility. Sometimes it was the first born son, sometimes it wasn't.
