His wing feathers were broken. But a bird needs to fly!

Thanks everyone for watching.

All the great music comes from audionetwork.

Are you maybe one of those exceptional viewers who's here looking for a way to support me? Well, as you may have noticed I never do any type of sponsorships in my videos, so it's truly because of you that I can keep on going... and keep the dream of a real sanctuary alive.
Here are the ways to become a guardian of the channel:

And I have a merchandise shop, my brother and I made all the designs together, take a look!

To give everyone context, feather grafting is a falconry technique called "imping."

A hunting bird is needed to hunt, so they will keep shed wing feathers in case an important flight feather breaks.

Even if he can’t fully fly, with the extension his muscles will be prepared when his own feathers properly grow in next year.

As a zoologist & animal rehabber/rescuer, I’ve saved and raised many a bird, dear friend. Most would rather you don’t spread or manipulate their wings…w exception of a “duck named Debra”.
The fact that all of your birds sat calmly…. Including the glorious peacock is a testament to you’re gentle and loving essence which all of them seem to recognize. This goes beyond trust. Not a video yet that doesn’t capture something that brings tears to my eyes.

Him sprinting through the field holding up Frankenbird like it’s the first flight of the Wright brothers is maybe my favorite thing ever

He's not flying, he's controlled-falling. And that's a step in the right direction! Thank you for doing such wonderful rescue work!!

Here I am … a grown man …. And I’m crying for this bird and what this man is trying to do for his friend…. Wish more people in the world was like this man… there would be a lot less endangered animals in the world… thank you for sharing and making me smile in a day in age it’s hard to…

The fact that every bird he's handled in this video clearly had complete trust in him says so much to me. I genuinely love this man so much

I recently found a baby crow that fell out of the nest and was sitting in the middle of the highway!! I waited for it's mom and looked for a nearby nest for several minutes to no avail. Nearly a month later now, with the help of your videos, I've been able to help this crow of mine (named "Drama" 😊) not just survive--but thrive-- in a loving environment with the best nutrition and access to both the outside world and indoors..letting him have the freedom and shelter to do whatever he wants to do. It's more fulfilling than any cat or dog adoption..it's even different than raising children (I have two). There's a bond between you and the bird that only you and the bird can understand. When we look into their eyes, they know whatever our intentions are. They can read our thoughts. And you can feel the connection and bond so strong it's undeniable. It's so foreign yet so familiar. If Drama wants to "fly the coop" he has that option and always will, but thanks to you I'm prepared to adopt him for the entirety of his life and I'm confident with the skills I've got to facilitate that.

He's the crow of a thousand colors.
His wings are truly unique & his bond with you even more so.
I hope he's able to fly soon. But with your help I'm sure he will.

All those birds are so patient and loving. And Kraa is patient during the process. And you are the best man. Thank you for helping these fellow souls.
