The question is, is it selfish to have children. The answer is obviously yes, no one has children for the sake of the child because that child does not exists. They have children for their own selfish desires to raise children. That Is a fact.

Im 43 & never once in my life have I felt the ‘natural’ desire for a child. Even when I was little I knew I didn’t want children. I hate when people say its natural, all women feel this desire. Actual NO not all women feel this ! I couldn’t imagine my life anyway but childfree. I do not feel at all that Im missing out & this whole passing on DNA is such sheet & selfish ! I don’t have any major genetic issue but the ones I do have, Im happy they are ending with me ! Even my rare green eyes for my family, don’t care they’re not getting passed on. When are we going to normalise that its ok to not have or want children ?!

NO biological parent cares what happens to their kids or grandkids. NO one wants to deteriorate and NO one wants to face their own death. But breeders FORCED their offspring into a Death Trap. Breeders need to STOP pretending they care about their offsprings end. Breeders breed because they are so miserable that they have to face their own death that they want to force mini-mes' into existence that will have to be traumatized over their parents' deaths. Misery loves company. It is always extremely selfish and cruel to force sentient beings into existence knowing that they will have to deteriorate and face their own death.

If people want to be parents so badly, they should consider fostering kids in need, or adopting orphans way before procreating. Being parents should be so much more than bringing mini-mes into the world.

Good job, Lawrence. There's no justification in procreating whilst there are children waiting to be adopted or the world is overpopulated, both of which are currently true to extreme degrees. It is the ultimate ego trip to think that one's genes are so special that passing them on outweighs everything else.
