Was anyone else terrified that they had camera’s everywhere at school?

I had to go to speech therapy for my entire childhood since I was mute, I found it to be very fun

I had the same problem with my "R"s. I watched this show when I was really little, and a character would say their "R"s as "W"s, and I picked up on that. My mom never told me to stip because she thought it was cute, and my 3rd grade teacher put me in speech therapy. She was my favorite teacher. I still say my "R"s as "W"s when I get really excited about something and start talking too fast. I stop what I'm saying and correct myself. My dad says I make a surprised face when it happens.

I’m not dyslexic either. I do have a speech development delay took speech therapy. It’s not too bad.

I did speech therapy too. But the thing is, I don't recall her ever giving me feedback. I just read aloud the entire time. It was weird

Speech therapy was fun at my school we played all these board games and stuff and we also got to miss the bad specials man those were the days

I was born with the same problem, I couldn't r or even th however I actually do have dyslexia, my dyslexia is a special case where I can read letters and numbers just fine however when it is brought into a word I can't read it anymore and I can only read because I memorize the entire word and only then can I read and spell the word or even know how to say it. A specific memory I have of my time learning how to pronounce r's my teacher had one word that she would always use later on was refrigerator. It actually made me hate the word refrigerator for like a year since that. Though during my time there I became friends with the only other kid in my entire school that also couldn't pronounce letters correctly, his name was Reed which was hilarious because I couldn't pronounce r's so I always called him Leed and he couldn't pronounce t's and a t was in our teachers name so the entire time we were in that class we could only pronounce one person's name correctly when there were three of us. And Reed, if you see this comment, I hope you are doing well wherever you are, I will always remember refrigerators and the titanic.

For a guy who’s finishing up speech class this year, I have memories there I’d didn’t think I’d get. Elementary school was… more fun that I thought. I’m moving schools and leaving 10 FRIENDS BEHIND the elementary school, the field days, parties, field trips. I don’t know if you guys had this thing in 2nd grade called BenchMark, you’ll know 2nd grade was the best year for, well generally everything.

Speech therapy was wild for me. There was like 8 of us in a small room and I only spoke twice the entire year. The next few years were at a different school. Had to practice pronouncing t', th's and s sounds.

My speech therapy was the worst, the person would bring me to the back infront of 10+ people watching and making fun of me

I done the same but in stem we were doing an egg drop but we needed to construct something so it doesn't break my egg barley cracked no one knew but I checked it too thoroughly and saw a small crack and for some reason I ratted on my self i don't know why but I told my teacher it cracked so i probably failed because of that
