You can hear in your Dads voice, how proud of you he is.

Worms won’t eat anything ‘alive’ so if the potatoes aren’t damaged and dying they won’t touch them but if they are and they start decomposing that’s when worms will get involved and speed up the process 😊

Your Dad's face as he was experiencing the garden again was priceless. His pride in you and wonderment at God's beautiful flowers was so evident. Happy anniversary to Mom and Dad. My hubby and I just celebrated 41 years together. Cherish every day with your loved ones.

You keep saying "beautiful" about the potatoes, but whats so beautiful is your relationship with your parents. You are all truly blessed. Its lovely to witness.

Becky, when your dad helps you, it makes me emotional. I lost my dad a few years ago and miss his help and knowledge in gardening. Enjoy each day with your wonderful family and make lots of memories ❤️

You can tell when your dad said, "this is so beautiful", he is full of pride and the beautiful garden you have created Becky. A laundry basket works really well for rinsing off vegetables like carrots and potatoes.

Becky says, “I don’t follow directions very well” Mom says, “No comment.” 😊💕🤣 I so enjoyed watching you all work together harvesting your crops and then replanting something else. What a great family!

Take pictures of everything to put in photo albums of each season. Take pictures of your Mom and Dad, your family, you plants and flowers and don't forget to get pictures of you!! Life is short and glorious and our God is amazing!! We are so blessed, with all the beauty of friends, family, loved ones, and special activities of it all. Don't miss to take pictures to teach and show your great memories of everything you love!! Thank you for making my day, may God bless you all!! Shannon Scott Randall

I can't get past the fact of how joyous it is that you're working and having fun with both of your parents. Mine have been gone for many years and how I wish I had the opportunity to do this with them.❤

Happy 40th anniversary Mark and Susan. I love that you both are so close to Becky and all of your family. It is a joy to watch Becky in the kitchen with Susan and Mark especially during potato harvest seasoning. Love to you all.

So sweet! You, mom, and dad are wonderful together. The world needs more of this kind of family life. I still have my 91 YO mom and I am so thankful every single day. Thank you for sharing your family with us. 🎉❤ Y'all are great!!!!

My parents would be helping me too if they were still here. I lost my mom in 2014 and my dad in 2018. I miss them so much and I’m sad that they didn’t get to enjoy their grandchildren (now 25, 23 and 18) longer. I actually got emotional watching your video today. I know you don’t need me to say this, but treasure them.

2 recommendations:
1.) make your life easier by pulling up the potatoe plant first instead of digging them all up. Most of the times the potatoes are still attached to the roots of the plant and 70-90% of the potatoes can be pulled out quite easily. It also reduces the risk of damaging the potatoes if you get the majority out before you dig for the rest.
2.) don’t throw the potatoes into the basket. Potatoes can bruise easily and rot faster and can’t be stored very long.

Your excitement over worms makes me smile. The year my husband built my raised boxes for me, he got me 3 boxes of fishing worms for my birthday. 😂 People questioned the wisdom of his decision, but it was the best gift!

This brings back so many memories for me, Becky! I taught all my grandchildren how to farm and garden by working with me in the garden, and one of my happiest memories is digging potatoes with the grandkids. It was like finding gold and they were always. …”oh look oh look oh look!”❤❤

Becky you need to get a potato fork. It will greatly reduce the chance of chopping a potato the way the shovel does. It will also be alot easier for Pop to dig. Love your channel Borky!
