FACTS !
It is astonishing how many people can’t control their dogs on a leash 🙈

That last dog was getting attacked by 2 cats. That's no joke, cats are tough and fierce.

I have a highly reactive dog so we usually take her to the wash where there is no one else around for off leash play and training, every once in a while there’s another person with a dog or someone just passing thru and I’ll never forget the time she started running after someone and as soon as I called her name she stopped, she didn’t come back right away she kinda looked back at the person looked back at me then made the right decision to come back to me and she definitely got a huge reward for that

I used to work at a dog daycare please take this man's advice!! You would be surprised of the amount of people who don't even teach there dog to sit. And most common is the pulling on the leash for very big dogs like Shepard and bigger! Please train them!!!

I’m really proud that I have a recall for my deaf senior dog with poor eye sight, it can be stressful at times if he’s not looking in my direction but sometimes I can just shine a flashlight at him to get his attention lol

PEOPLE TEACH YOUR DOGS RECALL It SAVED my dogs LIFE a month ago she (first time ever and corrected immediately) ran past me out and was less than 5 Ft from the BUSY ROAD and I did my RECALL command and ran inside and she stopped running into the road and FOLLOWED ME and that SAVED HER LIFE

My dog won't even get out of the truck if I don't tell him. Also I have to get out before he will.

Greetings from Europe. I have a miniature dachshund. A male. He is 4 years old. He was never off the leash when on the street. He would be dead like 1000 times ( hit by a car). My guess is, he would be dead in 30-60 seconds when off the leash. I am using a retractable leash to give him a bit of a "freedom", despite I know that the retractable leash is the worst type of a leash. For more security, I had to improve the retractable leash grip by adding a short strap on it, so I can have the strap wrapped around my wrinkle to secure the whole thing so even when my dachshund suddenly pulls, the leash stays in my hand (around my wrist). I saw lots of dog owners losing a leash when the dog suddenly pulls on it.

In any case, I never trusted my dachshund, people who own dachshunds know, that these guys are very specific, e.g. they never listen. It is my first dog, it was my wife's idea to get a dachshund because she had 2 dachshunds in the past so I thought she knows what she is doing. I was wrong.

To sum up, I completely agree with what is said in this video, if you love your dog, never have him / her face to face with an unknown dog even if the dog owner says "he is friendly, he won't hurt a fly". All dogs owners from my street I talked to, admitted that their dog was attacked in the past. Because I am not very familiar with dogs, I was shocked that it is so bad. Some dogs from my street were attacked multiple times through the years ... ( I apologize for my English.)

Yep how my dog was attacked by another dog who's owner was standing about 20 feet away & let her dog come right up to my dog because she was using a retractable leash & then didn't even correct her dog...just walked away. Speechless.

The one I always loved is when that person (who’s out with their dog without a leash) says “he’s ok!” No, it’s not “ok”, get your dog before I become the bad guy and handle your dog for you cause you evidently don’t know how.
