Drill large holes in the disc to remove weight. Make it spin easier.

You have to watch the weight and added friction so you don't overload the clutch. I added just longer and heavier string and I almost melted the at the clutch assembly.

Why don't you cut decorative holes in the disc to reduce weight?

To help with the weight of the disc, put some round circles or slits in the disc to subtract from the weight of the disc so it can spill up faster between each cut
