They work.
They can also leave scratches on some sidewalks.
Or commercial customers said they had NO equal at cleaning
road/curb junctures…but….
You needed a full face shield to operate one, deflector needed to be in place and when cutting through turf on overgrown sidewalks - the debris goes EVERYWHERE….in your hat, your shirt, out in the road…
Also not good for edging asphalt driveways.
A beastly effective tool that you have to be ready for.
They do have their uses though.

There's a reason why you use nylon line trimmer string instead of steel against concrete. Yup. Don't do that around your house or anything you care about. Especially stucco.😮 🤦🏻‍♂️
