According to the Westminster confession The chief purpose of man is to glorify God and to enjoy him forever, I understand that. But along the way we must be fully clear that there is nothing out of God that must be in God as if he needed my approbation. I hear your heart but I think we miss the point when describing Gods joy in praise when we make it sound like somehow God is deficient in himself.. The crowning point in God declaring his glory in the phenomenal world is his caring love for us and his incredible volitional act of including us in the revelation of himself. It’s about the love of God towards man, then by his grace our ability to reciprocate that adoration. The Father seeks those who worship in Spirit and in truth.
