I pray continually for God to help me empty my heart and mind of my worldly preoccupations and to fill them with The Holy Spirit. May The Lord help us all to triumph over doubt, anxiety, depression, loneliness and the temptations that lay before us. May he also inspire and nurture us as we pray and read The Bible, help us to seek out, find and engage with fellow Christians and preach the Gospel. This I pray in Jesus' name. Amen.

It’s also important to note that some gifts are good things: getting good grades, having a stable career and financial stability are all things that we should be striving towards, as it’s a gift from God. But, I also agree that these gifts are really meant to point us to the ultimate provider and goodness of God. But, the moment that we prioritise these “good things” over the creator, we forget His greatness and have created an idol.
