A shop project which puts a Dustopper cyclone dust separator on top of a Ridgid shop vac with 3d printed storage for all the hoses and accessories it came with. Super mobile, easy to use and functional!

Here are the additional 3d printed parts from other designers I used on my cart:

Man, you really saved my ass. I purchased 2" pvc and my new rigid is updated and wouldn't fit. God Bless you!!

Nicely done, sir. I just finished one of these myself. One suggestion: run a ground wire from your dustopper to the ground in your junction box. This was a must for me. Mine generated an impressive (and scary) static electricity field that I could easily feel from 3 to 4 feet away.

Welcome back Uncle Bobby! Keep all the tries goin these are always great shop ideas.

I’ll be printing this out and building it once I dig my hotend out of the mess it’s currently melted itself into.

Great, I'm off work now so I'm building this over the next week. Gotta start printing it all now!

Well it's no exaggeration, this is the "Ultimate" shap vac cart. Just wish I had access to a 3D printer. Even so, I will build something similar sans a 3D printer.

For the hoses, especially the hose without a hook - you could create some pieces the same way that you created at 3:51, the flexible C shape piece. this would hold the hoses securely whilst also being very easy to take in and out. They could be mounted to the side of the plywood board, or to the top and hanging over. as long as you made them say 30mm "tall" they would hold the hose very securely. Also you're less at risk of those hose clips getting snapped off.

I already have a similar cart, I’ll utilize a few of your ideas to make mine better. TY.

Nice job! Wish I had seen this a month ago before I made my own version. I WILL be stealing some of your ideas to add to mine. :-)

Love the adapters...I just used a heat gun to expand the pipe

I built one similar and I kept tipping it over because the hose is up top. I went back to side by side sled and fits under my workbench perfectly so it’s out of the way when not in use . Seen other’s use a larger base to spread the wheels farther apart to keep from falling over .

awesome. BTW a temporary hold for that hose could be a small bungie and some eye bolts.
