Dust Collection Cart

As promised, here’s my dust collection cart build using the Ridgid HD1400 shop vac and Dustopper separator. I was looking for something that would be modular and provide additional utility. I settled on this cart inspired by April’s design. You can find her video below:

This is a cool cart for the vac the only thing I would do to one up this is to add a exhaust port on the back to route the exhaust out . I connect a hose and run it out the door and it improves the the air Quality and keeps the temperature down. Great video 👍

I like how you square it off. Cheaper than the Rockler clamps a lot of people use

Nice job! I like the size and French cleat addition. Going to make one for my small shop and will incorporate a lot of your ideas in mine. Thanks for sharing!

Good video, thanks for sharing. May I suggest a lapel mic for the “live” shots? It will even out the sound with the voice-overs. Good luck with the channel!

Hey, Idk if i've missd this part of the video, but at the top of the structure, how did you go about making the ends rounded, instead of just points? Thanks!

What is the base panel on top of the saw horses? New to wood working and not very familiar with what things are called yet.

Thanks for the video and the ideas you shared.
Just wanted to suggest (for your safety) that you keep your hand clear when driving in brad nails. You might also want to protect your eyes with safety glasses and minimise the dust you breath in with a dust mask.
Thanks again.

Also, you know how there's air that's blowing out the back of shop vac when it's in use? Is the performance of the shop vac not affected by the fact that that air is getting blown onto the back of your cart? Not sure if they way I'm typing this will make sense to you, but hopefully it does
