What If Anakin Skywalker Attacked Palpatine at Ahsoka's Trial

Anakin Skywalker was enraged with the actions of the Jedi Council during Ahsoka's Trial. What If Anakin Attacked Palpatine at Ahsoka's Trial? Why would he make this attack? It amazes me how Anakin blamed the Jedi Council for the Ahsoka controversy but not Palpatine. The guy had a visible grin on his face throughout the whole trial. But then again, this is the guy who thought Palpatine would actually save Padme even though he tried assassinating her numerous times.

This one got me thinking, "what if Anakin absolutely fucking hated Palpatine" could make for a funny story. Like nothing else changes except that Anakin can't stand him. Maybe the "we'll watch your career with great interest" interaction gave him creepy uncle vibes. Every subsequent interaction with Paplatine trying to drive a wedge between Anakin and the jedi and turn him to the dark side is misinterpreted as a weird old man trying to get him alone. I'm just imagining how that would change things

inside the jedi council chambers:

Windu: you're on this council, but we do not grant you the rank of master
Anakin: That's outragous! It's unfair!
Windu: you didn't finish Ashoka's training, therefo--
Anakin: *interupting I don't give a shit the rank of master! Why are you making me represent that slimy old man? He smells like mothballs!


later in the chancellor's office standing over Palpatine's body:

windu: so. explain to me again what happened
Anakin: Well I entered the chancellor's office, very calm and jedi like
Windu: yes
Anakin: I informed him that Obi-won had engaged general grrievous, as instructed by the council
windu: uh-huh
Anakin: Then chancellor hinted that he might be a sith lord
Windu: right
Anakin: and I stabbed him 37 times
Windu: ....
Anakin: in the chest
Windu: *sighs
Anakin: and once in the groin
Windu: Anakin...
Anakin: Then I tee-bagged his corpse
Windu: ANAKIN!!

So. Y’all know how keeping his darkness suppressed took about 87% of his concentration and so Palpatine looked hella constipated? So What If the Jedi were aggressive in their trying to make Palpatine take his health seriously.

The whole 1 attacks 2, and 2's guards attack 1, then 3 sees 2 trying to kill 1, so he defends 1. I totally love the whole mix-up where Yoda is seen being attacked by Palpatine is caught on camera for the entire galaxy to see. From their standpoint, Palpatine is the aggressor, and wait is he using a red lightsaber? Whoa! Did lightning just fly out of his hands? WTF?!!! Even though Tarkin sees that happening, he still ordered the troops to fire on the Jedi. ...Once again my friend you have nailed it! one word...Brilliant! I totally love this story!
