"Ageing is a side-effect of not-dying, and I prefer to keep is that way" is the most graceful take on it hat I've heard in a while.

As a product designer for over twenty years, this pretty much sums up exactly what I do for a living. Now I can just share this expertly produced video instead of trying to explain it myself in a fairly poor manner. Thanks! 😂

I just wanted to say, I love when shops offer “b-grade”/cosmetic damage versions of their products!! Not only is it a good way to get a product you want when you sometimes can’t afford the full normal cost (and clears inventory/is environmentally-friendly!) but personally, I feel like it takes away some of the pressure and guilt from making “the first scratch” on it myself! Especially with things prone to light damage like enamel pins that I stick on my backpack and know will inevitably get some scuffs, etc.

I suddenly became a lot more grateful that I'm a potter and am therefore my own factory and my own quality control. This is... not for the faint of heart. Thank you for breaking all of this down.

"It's like having children but they will never tell you that they love you." Tell that to your proud parent robot!

I cannot overstate how cool this look into manufacturing is. Most companies try to keep their tricks of the trade secret. I literally work at a global food ingredient producer and still learned a ton from this video!

Also LOVE that you sell the imperfects! Reduces waste, gives price conscious customers options, and helps your business. I love that this trend is growing (I've seen it from a number of small companies I support). I'm hard on my jewelry anyway, so like a car, it's going to lose its perfection the second I open the package regardless.

I looked at the rings on the store and read it as, "Rings with Cosmic Damage." I thought that was a pretty funny way to describe when the universe messes something up.

I’ve had my rings for over a year and I wear them all the time! The amount of times I have been asked “is that a screwdriver on that ring” is hilarious.
To hear about the process and the mechanics about how they were made was so cool! Love the video. Love the product.

I often tell others about my ideas in a hope they will make them and I don't have to!

Hi Simone I know you probably dont read every comment but I bought your rings for my husband and I to use as our wedding bands! I love the look and the feel of them on my finger. My husband is allegric to stainless steel as we found out (his finger started swelling), we are going to gold platte the rings to match. Everyday I look at my ring and think about your career and how you have come so far! I can’t wait to see what you have in store for us next 💝

I'll admit I skipped through the ad until I saw Tobin and stuck around for the rest of the ad because that website idea is great! Tobin looks like a lovely guy and I hope he gets adopted from your website!

a bit of topic, but I love the setup of your room behind you. The furniture, the plants, the curtains, they all come together to bring a nice very nice and cozy feel to it, and that bookcase is just the cherry on top.
A true work of art in and of itself.

I got the joke. I'm a QA specialist for transcription so the missing letter was pretty much where my eyes went first. Love it.

Also, your side-effect of aging quite is gold.

in a world of dropship and whitelabel, seeing someone discuss their experience from idea to product is so refreshing. thanks simone!

I can appreciate the joke on the jacket. My institution got some custom bike jerseys made, and they accidentally misspelled our own name. They recalled them as soon as they noticed, so the ones that got into the wild with the misspelling are now coveted items.

Part of me hopes tobin gets adopted, but he does seem happy with you as well. Good on you for giving him a better time towards his golden years

1:54 "I don't have any advice for comming" just after talking about that was low key funny to me

This video was a rollercoaster. From thinking about orgasms, through cuteness overload, lessons about machining, nerdy joke and going to SPACE!
Best of luck to all y'all!
