hello there. I have a group created in outlook, just learning a bit about Google docs and I'd like to send a doc to that outlook group but having a hard time. Do I have to attach google doc through outlook? Can I create an email group through Google Docs? I don't think so! Help!

In the past I have seen where the person I share with does NOT get a push notification on their phone when the doc is shared even though they have the app.... They really should get a push notification when a doc is shared and/or when there is an update to a shared doc. Is there a way to have Google Doc users to get push notifications when docs are shared or when changes are made?

How do we set, in such a way that we can share the Google doc url, and when people click the url, they have to confirm their Gmail ( so that we can build list of subscribers) before they are redirected to the content (forms, checklist, etc) ?

Hi Steve I am in the process of putting my business online and overwhelmed by the technology. I had no idea that google was anything but a search engine and as per your basic videos, I have gone into the google drive docs but still unclear as to how to navigate in each of these, especial sharing documents with a third party. Where do I create folders for this? I want to take advantage of this and will be using the free account until I need to upgrade. How do I set up a file and upload the documents from my files and how specifically do I share with a specific person? I have no tech skills. I worked for years with a hospital corporation that said call IT don't touch anything except Microsoft Office. Do you have a video that takes someone like me to wants to use google more effectively but no idea how to begin? I am enrolled in your Thurs course for Boomers.

Once I share why do I have to grant access? And once they return they have to grant me access? It’s only intermittent as well—

Hey Steve! This feature worked flawlessly for me for YEARS... but now when I share documents, they are NOT shared... (literally the same people who have received them from me before) - do you have any troubleshooting ideas?

It does not work. Everything I do gives the user a choice to ask me for permission. Yes I have cleared all restrictions but I think unless you pay google it's a no. Steve
