The GROSCHE Milano stovetop espresso coffee maker (also called a moka pot) is made with food safe alluminum, and available is 3-cup, 6-cup, and 9-cup sizes. Unlike many other popular Italian coffee makers, our GROSCHE Milano has added features like a finger guard for safety and a soft touch handle for comfort.

Really like this moka pot-a lot! Some other's instruction indicate heating water before adding to pot, I've done both and have found no difference in taste. I take the time saving method, unheated water directly into the moka pot & place on stove top. The cold water does not come into contact w/ the grounds until it's heated & pushed upwards. No diff.

Excellent review, in less than minutes. Love these type of reviews, and this was still very thorough. Thank you!

I saw a video that recommended putting hot water into the base before putting it on the stove. The reason being that the coffee would be less bitter that way than putting cold water directly into it. Have you heard of that route and would you agree or disagree?

I just used my Grosche Moka Pot using Lavazza ground Espresso from the can. I prehated the water this time. Much better taste.

Love my Grosche but noticed only fills halfway after 2 weeks of use. Video says don't forget seal, what seal. I thought the filter was attached to the pot but noticed it came out, to clean I figured. I did not see a seal come out. Is it replaceable and why did is suddenly come out?

Most agree that putting hot water in the bottom is the way to go, as in this video. But WARNING: the bottom chamber becomes much too hot to hold in your hand almost immediately. You need to have a towel or potholder to handle it while you insert the coffee basket and screw on the top.

The bad news: my local cafe has a new owner and can't do anything right. They've cut down on hours, lost staff, are only selling packaged food, aren't making sandwiches or smoothies - and have unplugged the espresso machine!

No espresso drinks? What the actual Hell? 😳

The GREAT news: it means I have no choice; it's time to buy a moka press!

I COULD buy the famous Italian brand with the cartoon of the guy with a moustache. You might've heard of it. 😏

But, I won't. I've been reading a lot of reviews - a LOT of reviews! - and I'm going with Grosche.

Best wishes from Vermont 🍁

Just bought the large version which I believe is the 12 cup. For some reason it keeps sputtering every time I try to brew my coffee. It works fine on the smaller one but the large one seems like it doesn’t work as well. Not sure why this is happening or how to fix it but I may send it back.

But how much coffee grinds should use?

So this is just another generic percolator sold under a dozen different brand names?

You do not do a fine grind for Moka Pot, medium is more accurate.
