Lol nailed it! Me and brother would wake the parents up at 4:30 and we all would be back to sleep by 6. Lol. And waking back up by 10 to get ready to go open more gifts at grandmas. When the cool uncles would hook us up! And grandparents always came through with the Christmas cash in the stockings at the very end.

I stayed fighting my sleep 😂
Every year I swear me, my sister and cousin got up around 5/6 in the morning to open up our presents. Those were the best times. And some Christmases we would go to the movies if it was a really good Christmas movie out. Loved Chrismas dinner too. 🙃 if I could rewind the time.

Yeah falling asleep was so hard due to the excitement. My parents would put all of us kids in the same room so we all would be up together. Even if we fell asleep we would wake up periodically throughout the night and every time we would check the time hoping it’s time to come out and open the presents. As a family we had had very fortunate Christmas’s and I know I’m blessed to say that. Absolute one of the best experiences being a kid. I miss those days.
