Effective altruism. There is always good things about it. You get to help those in need, and you feel good about it. However, there is something that is not talked about. There are downsides to altruism. You will get envied and judged harshly. Many people can get the wrong impression of these types of acts. This is just an observation. Hopefully this does not discourage you to keep going. It is just here to remind you that there is always some dirt in people's houses. Good in bad, and bad in good.
