I was directed to this video from the resources of the non-trivial organisation's online fellowship program and I'm so glad I found this community. I am very much inspired to apply for this amazing program and even more inspired to try and be effective at altruism beyond the scope of what the program holds. Great introduction by Miss Ajeya!

The limitations of science-based altruism are found in the fact that it is science-based. I hope it evolves to go beyond statistics since living beings are more than statistics. Impacting positively even just one life has the potential to affect many more. Yet, wonderful talk by Miss Ajeya.

This is really scary to listen to. I may be less “educated” and not have as much money as her parents put in her account but I’m very happy being the best me I can be everyday and helping those around me that I can and not more concerned with thinking about how the future will play out and thinking about what rights farm animals in the future should have haha ahhh to be young. You say Peter singer shattered your world wait till you have children sweetheart. I wish you the best
