After catching and cleaning this massive 200 lb swordfish it was time to put it on the grill! 👩‍🍳 Using a simple soy ginger marinade recipe we grilled the fish for around 5 minutes per side. What's great about this recipe is that it can be used to cook any fish of your choice. If grilling isn't your style you could bake the fish in the oven 😋

Watching you guys is so much fun. Doesn't matter if your fishing or cooking. I'm old enough to be you grandpa and it is odd (for my generation) to see women so into fishing. Nice. Nice to see "kids" so put together, working hard and doing what they love. Thanks for sharing. It really helps when stuck home. I'm a fresh water mountain fisherman on the left coast, but if we visit the south right coast I'd love to have Gale Force Fishing show me Florida fishing.

A hack for super easy ginger pealing is to use a spoon! Also you can cut it into disks if you're going to let your marinade sit and the flavor leaches out really well! THANK YOU for another GREAT video Captains!! THANK YOU AGAIN, they're ALL totally appreciated. You're both driven with superhuman work ethic, have MAD fishing skills in all aspects, and you ALSO have the most fun, vivacious personalities in the history of...well...vivaciousness! THANK YOU for the fun costume pics. I know I've said it several times, but you two EASILY could carry your own syndicated fishing show...EASILY. You're my hand down favorites, and clearly I'm not alone... Here's to your every success in life!

Oh yeah! Next time you do your Gale Force Marinade put lemon grass in it! Cut it into lengths about 3 inches or so & smash them before putting them in. Then finish with a healthy splash of pineapple juice. Ginger & lemon grass are an AWESOME combo!

New fan here so still catching up to all your videos, which are all awesome btw. But one of my favorite parts of this one is spying a lat pulldown machine in the background out on the patio. Nice!!

Not surprised to see your channel is growing. I like to use compound butters when grilling fish. Super easy to make and delicious!

For ginger, I keep it in the freezer, then use a fine cheese grater. Works great and no peeling.

Nothing like the sound of that soothing copyright-free music.

Seriously ladies, your channel is a refreshing change of pace for outdoor channels. I found you the other day in your collab with Stanzfam. Keep doing what you do and you’ll have thousands more subscribers and a bunch of sponsors in no time. I wish you all the best. I like the real and friendly aspect of your approach. Consider collabs with Brook Crist and her fiancé Victor (Landshark Outdoors) or if you want huge exposure, Deer Meat for Dinner. Although all of them are unique and different from you, I think their styles would complement your approach very well.

So from your ex chef pal. First main ingredient in teriyaki is, yep you said it, soy sauce. So your taste knows what its talking about. 👍 Swordfish and its cousin Wahoo was one of my favorites to cut up and cook. Too many people say it is dry. Prob cuz they overcook it.

Consider adding fresh garlic, lime juice and olive oil (instead of wine and saki) to the marinade. Crushed red pepper for a zing!
