Hospital mama here and my daughter has EO asthma & grew up in the PICU, we didn't know until she turned 16.. but this was a bit triggering but also blessed she hasn't been hospitalized in 5 yrs!! 🎉🎉🎉

I had the nose tubes and the mask. Let me tell you, I HATE THE NOSE TUBE. Id rather struggle to breath than use that thing ever again. Me and My nurses always had major fights about me taking the thing out during the night because I had difficulty breathing. The problem was that the air made my nose and throat dry, which causes irritation, which on its turn cause shortness of breath. In the end we agreed I'd only use it when I felt getting breathless.
