I have the 21 RTLE and I love it it’s the jack of all trades. Everything you need and nothing you don’t. It’s more truck then 98% ppl need. Driving is fantastic in all weather conditions. It’s fast and it’s a workhorse. The only thing I haven’t done is towing but I had about 25 bags of top soil in the bed and it had no problem with it. The in bed trunk is something you thought you don’t need but you quickly put it to good use. The swing gate is a back saver and the in bed sound exciters are loud and clear. Very happy with the performance. If it’s not on your list it should be. Be honest with yourself how often do you go off-roading or rock crawling? But the RL dose have good off-roading capabilities but there limited to the truck’s hight and approach. But dirt roads no problem lol. Before you say no take a test ride. You might be surprised.

Own a 2022 rtle and they did a good job listening to customers.
1: tailgate locks 2: truckier front end 3: volume knob. (Needs tune knob) 4. Rear doors open further.

I’d make the back seats have 1”-2” more legroom, better infotainment (see new pilots), and get it to 7000 towing to be perfect.

I have a 2022 RTL, it's the spec to get. You save several thousand and you don't loose any significant features. (I don't need my bed to be a speaker). It's been an amazing truck. Both in town, and on long trips. It's like a lounge chair on the 6 hours drives, super comfy. One item I didn't think would be all that great, but is, it the 100% completly flat bed. It's amazing how much better stuff packs into the bed without wheel wells protruding into the bed space. And dam, that in-bed trunk is super useful. I mean even just for getting groceries. It's always dry, and the groceries don't roll around like they do in the bed. If you need a mid-size truck, this should definitely be one you check out. (I hard core cross shopped the new Nissan Frontier, Toyota Tacoma, Jeep Gladiator, Ford Maverick, and Hyundai Santa Cruz - none of them hold a candle...)

I’ve owned an 06, 08, and now a 17 Ridgeline RTL-E. I keep coming back to the Ridgeline because I’ve yet to find a more complete and practical vehicle that’s genuinely enjoyable to drive. Looking for a 22 RTL-E in Sonic Grey Pearl now. I’ve own 13 different cars in the last 10 years and the Ridgeline remains my favorite vehicle thus far.

Traded my 17 tundra for a 2022 Ridgeline black edition and I absolutely love this truck! I haul 2 dirt bikes and gear at most and it does it just as well as the tundra. The vtec is very fun to drive, unlike the underwhelming taco v6. I was going to downsize back to a taco pro but they drive and ride like shit. For the same price as a taco pro I got the loaded black edition and I couldn’t be happier!!!

I had like 5 Tacomas already, the first time I see my 2021 RTL no more Tacomas, way more confortable

2022 Black Edition, So far very good, it manages payload and towing well, better then the Taco by a lot, about the same as a Colorado. Biggest plus is AWD, our weather in the north gets bad and part time 4wd isn’t designed for cold water or thin snow, the Honda just roles right thru it at stays confident and planted. Gas mileage is good as well, on long trips I have had 28.1 MPG, and managed 30 with “Snail Mode” lol. Other big advantages over all the mid size trucks I tested (Colorado, Taco, Frontier) Were: ride quality, silence, bed utility (Bed is wide and unobstructed, fits sheet rock flat without issue). And just general ease of use.
Downsides: Max towing (not relevant to me), Ground clearance (don’t care i use sxs for off-roading), Infotainment (Easy to use and good enough but sluggish), And i wish the source button on the wheel was a pause / play button like most cars (minor gripe).

For me, it’s enough truck for what I need. I have a 2022 Touring. Rides very comfortably, it’s quiet, and the box with trunk does what I need it to do. My only real complaint is the push button shifter. The gear doesn’t instantly engage, there is a longer than necessary pause. For example, backing out of my driveway, then changing into D. The pause to me is frustrating. I purchased it in December 2021, and it drove fantastically in our Canadian winter weather. The wife enjoys driving it as the size of the vehicle isn’t overwhelming. The kids enjoy the stadium rear seating.
I will most likely keep it 4 yrs, and expect those years to be trouble free.

I have a '22 Ridgeline. I keep it in Eco Mode, and have a light foot, and keep it at 65 or under. I'm averaging 27-28 mpg for a tank.

I never hauled nothing but with payload drives great and climbs hills and mountains very good with the AWD system. The Ridgeline can do anything other do.

How do you turn off the engine auto shut off stop? And is there VCM control on the engine? VCM is automatically shut down 3 cylinders on the freeway

Hi I have a 2023 Honda Ridgeline rtle in white pearl. I love it, I like the Firestone tires. It runs smooth. I just don't understand why Honda doesn't make quiter cabin and suspension for $5, 000.00 more. Let's go Honda.

Is there extra auxiliary outputs that Honda inputs? Thinking to put in ditch lights if I ever get one. I know there are aftermarket parts, but would love an actual switch inside the cabin

This thing needs ventilated seats.... Something something I can't give up. Hopefully, the refresh takes care of it and the rumored thirty seven mile per gallon hybrid
