Can you imagine a massive army attempting to invade Machu Picchu? It would be like forcing an army through a narrow funnel or crossing a bridge like the one you saw—challenging and easily defensible. Hiring a tour guide is highly recommended, as you'll gain deeper insights into the fascinating Inca Empire and its incredible history. To grasp the size of the empire: it stretched from Pasto, Colombia, to Maule, Chile, a distance equivalent to driving from New York City to Portland, Oregon, and then on to San Francisco!
I hiked the Inca Trail, it was an awesome experience.

Hey guys, I'd been in Machu Picchu the past wednesday, it had a horrible government's campsite in the middle, even though with it, the place was really AMAZING!! I could just stay there for a half of hour 'cause I took circuit 1. So, I really hope u enjoy all the rest of ur trip as well I did, and have the GREATEST EXPERIENCE EVER INTO CUSCO, Peru.

Thank you for this beautiful video and your great vibes!!! The think about MP is that is a whole site, and not everyone is willing to walk around and is their loss... It is true that you have to be in good shape to be able to walk, to have time and be curious... Most people just stays in the main picture perfect postal IG place taking pictures. Wich is amazing! But there is a lot to see and many different angles to se the main mountains. There is even a track, starting from Aguas Calientes, called Putucusi. I'm not sure if is still open, but if you are able to climb the steep mountain you get the behind view of the site. And thank you for your account on the aliens 😅 maybe they were friends with the Incas too and built everything. together. Keep travelling ✨🛩️

Only been to Machu Picchu and Petra. MP 2x. I would say they are both equally amazing and somewhat difficult to get to. Petra has so much more history though. MP is amazing due to the nature surrounding it.
